Stainless Steel Security Bars (AC173)
Our stainless steel security bars are designed to fit across the front of your hut for additional security. Conventional locks are not always effective in discouraging intruders. The bar is mounted on two stainless brackets which fit to the hut's frame. A second supporting bracket is fitted centrally -usually to the frame or your second door. A single strong padlock (supplied separately) is used to secure the bar. The bars come in standard lengths of 1.5, 1.75 and 2 metres. Other lengths are available on request but our standard sizes should fit most huts. The bars are fabricated from 2inch x 1/4 inch S/S bar and come complete with 100mm stainless steel coach bolts.Please allow 14 days for delivery.
PIR Alarm For Beach Huts (AC135)
Just the thing to secure your hut against unwanted intruders. Powerful 130 dB alarm sound. User programmable code. Easily fitted. Stainless steel closed shackle padlocks (BH951)
You just need to pick up one of these padlocks to appreciate the quality from one of the UK's finest manufacturers. Buy only stainless steel padlocks for the unforgiving marine environment. Anything else is false economy. Squires closed shackle padlock are sold in two sizes 40mm and 50mm.
Stainless Steel disc padlock (BH950)
We see so many padlocks that are badly corroded and difficult to open. Sometimes they may not even survive the first winter. There is no point in economising on your lock. Buy only stainless steel and save having to buy new locks every other year. This Squires lock is excellent value for money and will save you money in the end.
Personal / Beach Hut Alarm With Flashing Light (AC139)
This little alarm doubles as a personal attack alarm and a beach hut alarm. The alarm will be activated immeddiately the pin is removed. To use on your hut, fix the alarm to the inside of your hut using the bracket supplied and install a hook (not supplied) on the inside of the door. When leaving your hut, simply hook the strap on to the hook just as you close the door. A great device for scaring away intruders. Give them a double surprise and fit 2! Mobile phone security alarm with text messaging (AC115)
If you are a gadget person then this is designed for you. If the hut is interferred with, the unit sends a text message to your phone. It uses a pay as you go Orange mobile phone card (supplied)and comes complete with battery ready to go. The alarm can be activated/de-activated from your mobile phone. It has many clever features including the ability to adjust it's sensitivity remotely. Gadgetry has finally come to the hut!
Key operated security alarm (AC110)
A key operated wired battery operated alarm with 2 sets of magnetic contacts which is useful if you have a rear door to your hut. It also has an external siren of 110db. 9v battery included.
Plastic anti-scaling spikes (BH955)
Deter vandals from climbing on your hut(unfortunately a sign of the times!) Fixing these legal anti-scaling spikes on the edge of your roof will act to discourage them. These are the original patented design and the unique double-hinge design allows them to be also formed neatly on fence tops and irregular surfaces. Sold in packs of 8 with a total length 4 metres (13') with warning tag.
Stainless steel nails and screws (AC091)
You should always use stainless steel nails in any construction work on beach huts. There is nothing worse than the unsightly stain from ordinary nails which have gone rusty from salt spray. Galvanised clout nails for securing roofing felt are fine as the rain washes off the salt, but for all other work use only stainless steel nails. You cannot buy the the nails in DIY stores. We sell two popular nail sizes in handy packs. The larger ones are for fixing panels on the outside and the smaller panel pins are for internal cladding etc. The stainless screws are sold in packs of 24 for the anti-scaling packs - see item BH955.
Replacement hinges for beach huts (AC094)
Most huts are fitted with light weight hinges which do not last long in the salty atmosphere. These substantial hinges make ideal replacements. We supply 14 inch or 16 inch long heavy galvanised hinges with a cranked hook and band which will fit most beach huts. They are sold singly as huts may be fitted with either 2 or 3 hinges per door. They come complete with all necessary fixings including stainless steel coach bolts and screws.
Beach hut 6'x8' plus 4' veranda (BH862)
These huts come with a four foot veranda but can be supplied without a veranda where space is limited. All the solid wood is tanalised and only stainless steel nails are used in its construction. All other fittings are galvanised.The floor is tongue and grooved and the roof is of exterior plywood. The timber walls are lined to keep out the damp. A window and shutter can be fitted to the left hand door if required.Please contact us for delivery dates, delivery charges and erection.
Beach hut 10'x8' with 4' veranda (BH881)
These substantial huts come with a four foot veranda. All the solid wood is tanalised and only stainless steel nails are used in its construction. All other fittings are galvanised.The floor is tongue and grooved and the roof is of exterior plywood. The left hand door has a window with a shutter. These are supplied flat packed.
